End of an era

As 2018 draws to a close, the end of an era is also near.

As of yesterday, my beloved horse has been sold and moved to a new home, in the hopes of providing her with the life that I myself cannot.

It’s been months of deep thoughts. Considerations. Trying to find compromises and solutions to the challenges that come with horse ownership. Selfishly, I would have liked to keep her, but her welfare has always been top priority for me, and the conclusion was in the end to find a new family for her to live and grow with.

She will be dearly missed, but also I know it was the right choice for us both to part ways at this point in time.

Many fond memories were made, and there will be many more to come. ❤
